Paddy Power PokerStars migration sees Flutter brands unite on single platform

Key facts

  • Paddy Power Poker moved to PokerStars Network on 28 October 2026
  • Betfair Poker joined PokerStars Network on 13 August 2026
  • Sky Poker is now Flutter’s only iPoker room
  • PokerStars US uses Playtech software since April 2026

Paddy Power PokerStars migration took place on 28 October 2026. The room moved from Playtech’s iPoker network to the PokerStars Network. Players learned about the change just one day before it happened. Betfair Poker made the same move earlier, on 13 August 2026, joining the PokerStars Network.

Sky Poker is now the last Flutter poker room still using Playtech’s iPoker, but reports say Sky Poker could move soon.

Flutter’s network plan and impact on Playtech

Flutter is bringing its poker brands together on one network. Paddy Power Poker and Betfair Poker both left Playtech’s iPoker in 2026. In Ireland, Betfair Poker closed its local room and directed players to the PokerStars dot-com network. The company has not said if Paddy Power’s Irish room will use the same plan.

These changes remove two well-known names from iPoker in a short time. Flutter is also reviewing its business and may cut up to 1,400 jobs in the UK and Ireland as it brings brands together.

PokerStars opens platform to partners

PokerStars started offering its platform to outside operators in September 2026. It now sells software, tournament products, and game-integrity tools through PokerStarsNetwork.com. Partners can use their own name or the PokerStars brand. In Italy, Sisal and Snai already share players with PokerStars but keep their own brands.

This is the first time in 25 years that PokerStars has offered its network as a business-to-business service. Flutter’s first-quarter update said these moves helped PokerStars grow outside the UK. PokerStars revenue is now above its Covid-era high.

PokerStars and Playtech in the United States

Since 1 April 2026, PokerStars has used Playtech software for its US product. It runs as PokerStars Exclusively on FanDuel. This followed approval from the Michigan Gaming Control Board. The new setup joined players from New Jersey, Michigan, and Pennsylvania on iPoker technology.

PokerStars chief commercial officer Mike Woodbridge said different rules in each country have split the global game. This has led the company to leave some places and avoid others. Flutter will report its third-quarter results on 4 November 2026 before the US market opens.
